About Us

I grew up in Atlanta, where wings aren't just food, they're a part of the culture. Every spot had its own unique take on sauces, and I learned early on that wings could be so much more than just buffalo.

When I moved out west, I realized that kind of wing sauce creativity didn’t exist everywhere. I couldn’t find those bold flavors I grew up loving. Seattle’s inventive, experimental vibe pushed me to start mixing and testing my own recipes until I found something I loved. Then, when I landed in South Lake Tahoe, the entrepreneurial energy of the community gave me the push to finally go for it and start bottling my sauce.

Winghuvan was born out of that journey, Southern roots, a spark of creativity, and a whole lot of Tahoe “send it” spirit. Now it’s here for you to enjoy at home!

What's in the name?

I had been making wing sauces for a few years until COVID hit. With the extra time at home. I decided to really hone in on the recipe and make it official.

During that time, Goose's album "Shennanigans Night Club" came out, which featured a song "Madhuvan" which was on heavy repeat while i finalized the recipe. Thus, the idea of playing off the name of the song and Winhuvan was born. 

Why Winghuvan?

Because wings deserve better, Winghuvan was born to solve a simple problem. Most wings out there weren't made with love and the flavor they deserve. Overpriced at restaurants, with small portions and a lack of flavor. 

Our sauce is specifically optimized for use at home, in the air fryer, on the grill, or deep fried! You will taste the bold flavors of your favorite wings without the restaurant prices. 

Also! Who are the Golden Gals?     

They are my wonderful golden retriever nieces, Jojo and Layla
