-
Winghuvan Wing Sauce

How to Make Smoked Chicken Wings With Winghuvan
Step 1: Prep Your Wings

Begin by preparing your chicken wings. Pat them dry, then apply a generous coat of your favorite BBQ rub. Let the seasoning adhere for 10–15 minutes.
Pro Tip: A dry surface helps the rub stick and creates better color during the smoke.
Step 2: Preheat Your Smoker
Set your smoker to 250°F.
I like using a mesquite wood blend for a heavier smoke flavor, but feel free to use any wood you love, hickory, apple, cherry, oak, or a custom mix.
This is your recipe, so make it your own!
Step 3: Smoke Your Wings Low & Slow
Once the smoker is up to temp and the rub has set, place the wings on indirect heat.

-
Smoke for about 2 hours, or until wings reach an internal temperature of at least 165°F.
-
For crispier skin, I prefer taking mine into the 170s°F.
Optional Crispy Finish (Highly Recommended!)
Smoking alone doesn’t always produce the crispiest skin. After the wings finish smoking:
-
Turn your grill to high heat (400°F+)
-
Sear the wings over direct heat for 3–4 minutes per side
This adds char, texture, and locks in that smoky flavor. -

Step 4: Sauce, Toss, and Serve
Warm Winghuvan in a small pot to your preferred amount.
Add your smoked wings to a large bowl and toss them in Tahoe’s finest wing sauce until evenly coated.

Serve immediately and enjoy the perfect balance of smoky, savory, and tangy flavors!
